Aura & Chakra Photography
My fascination with aura photography began in 1997 at a little shop called Inner Journeys in Fairview Heights, Illinois. The owner had brought an aura photographer in to do pictures one Saturday afternoon. As I watched, my intuition began nudging me to purchase a camera of my own. At the time, I was involved with taking care of a family member, so adding that to my business was not an option. In 2001 that resolved, and in January 2002, I bought the Aura Cam 6000. I thoroughly enjoyed taking photos, traveling & meeting all the wonderful people I met. When Fuji quit making the film in 2018, I switched to what was the only other option at the time, a prototype computer program from the mid-90s. And then, in 2023, I found out about a system that worked with a smart watch & tablet.
About Aura Photography
This latest generation of aura photography uses a specialized app on a tablet as well as a smart watch to measure the skin's electrical conductivity and translate it into a visual representation of the aura. The app uses a combination of biofeedback and color theory to interpret the signals and generate an image of the person's aura. The picture is printed on high quality photographic paper for you to take home with you along with a 15-page handout. A personal interpretation also is given.
About the Aura
The aura is the life force energy that radiates around and through all living beings. Auras have been perceived in various ways by psychics, spiritual teachers and scientists. We humans have auras. So do animals and plants – even crystals!
Your aura or energy field is an extension of who you are. To a psychic, your aura speaks volumes about where you have been, what you are creating in your life and where you are going. It shows your personality, how you relate to other people, and how you treat yourself. Your actions, thoughts and emotions can show up in your aura. By becoming more aware of your energy field, you can learn about yourself and grow in ways most people can’t even imagine.
Your aura is your personal universe. Imagine a space around you filled with radiant light. This life energy moves around you as you sit nestled safely in its center. This place is your aura, your own personal universe. It is your protection and your playground. It constantly moves and changes as you move and change. Auras come in every color of the rainbow. The colors and energies can change in a short period of time or remain the same for years. You may have a basic color, or combination of colors, that stays constant.
About the Chakras
These are energy centers within the body, traditionally recognized in spiritual traditions like Hinduism & Buddhism & increasingly adopted in various holistic practices. These centers connect the physical body to the energy body & are points where energy flows, influencing physical, mental, emotional & spiritual well-being. Each chakra is associated with specific colors, parts of the body, emotions & functions.
The chakras are located along the spine with the root chakra at the base of the spine pointing down into & connecting us to the Earth. The 2nd through 6th chakras are located along the spine with openings toward the front & back. The 7th chakra is at the crown of the head pointing upward & connecting us to God/Goddess/Divine Source.
The information you will receive from Loving will tell you what parts of your body & what emotions are governed by each chakra as well as its associated qualities. You will learn what problems can be caused by an out-of-balance chakra & how to bring those chakras back into balance.
